Expressions from our Partners

I just wanted to share and I am pleased to announce that I officially start my first class on January 23, 2013. I plan to move into adding a biblical class (A Study of Religion) once I become acclimated. My goal is to attain a degree in Social Arts with a concentration in Communications.  I may need to make a correction on the actual title of the degree. J - Pamela Robinson

Sisters, I wanted to encourage you to stay the course with Jesus.  He is always faithful and your prayers from a pure heart don’t go unheard. He will answer them and when he does, praise Him all the more because His delight is in you!  - Kim Harris

Sisters, I thank the Lord God for a place where I’m able to grow practically and spiritually. It provides safety, unity, wholeness, wellness and the Lord meets me where I am. God’s love is so overwhelming and beautiful we must share it with others.  I love you all.  - Michelle Haynes

BABYLON (A POEM)
Babylon, Babylon she is such to behold, men gaze at her beauty and value her as gold. Babylon, Babylon she is such to behold, women admire her charm and follow after her soul. Kings and princes are seduced by her philosophies; civil and religious leaders are under her spell.  Get out! Get out of her my people, before it’s too late. One drink of her enchantments is a perilous fate. – Michelle Warren

I was reminded of the passage in John 4 (the woman at the well) Jesus saw it fit to visit her on this day.  This encounter released her from life’s barriers of man’s prejudices to where she was accepted and loved.  She received living water, Jesus Christ.  Receive him on this day.  Practice sharing Jesus the living water from your encounters with Him.  – Mother Ann Watson

(POEM)
Lord, Set me Free!
Tear down the walls that I may go free
The partition that’s holding me in captivity
Lord, I want to be more like you
Help me to see as you do
I desire only your will
Allow me to rest and be still
Only you can fill my deepest need
Without you, I cannot succeed.
– Robin Osborne
