What's New This Week?

November 26th - December 2nd

Announcements:

We hope that each and everyone of you had a great thanksgiving holiday and spent quality time with those who are significant to you.

We had a great time in our social this past Saturday.  It was really fun and exciting to connect as sisters in the faith!  Look for our upcoming activities on the calendar this Sunday the 2nd.

Expressions from our Partners

I am proud to say that I have completed registration for school. On December 1, 2012. I will officially be ready to sign up for my classes.  This has been a long term goal for me that I am finally achieving. I have a few more steps and I’m taking them one moment at a time. Amen! - Pamela Robinson

I started my first job yesterday. It was fun but boring because I’m in training. - Loni Kinchen

A few of my favorite things:
1.      gotandem.com -  Daily Bible encouragement
2.      soaking.net – Beautiful worship music
3.      www.noondaycollection.com  & christian.org
4.      A prayer – “My God, grant that I may love thee, and the only reward of my love be to love thee always more and more.”  - Leo XIII March 15, 1890 – Tyra Brown

Min. Tyra did a teaching at the Assisted Living Home on Thanksgiving that really put perspective on the holiday. Although, we often think of the festivities such as time with family and the abundance of food--what about giving thanks to Jesus? Always keep him first in your heart. - Kim Harris

One of the first scriptures I learned and one of my favorites is Jeremiah 29:13. And ye shall seek me and find me, when ye search for me with all your heart. - Kendra Kay

I want to listen to the 16 minute teachings with my parents and take notes. - Hannah Haynes

The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down. Proverbs 14:1 (NIV) What are we building? Remember our last Women’s Fellowship? Vision, Cultivate, Production. We have been the capacity by God and the tools and resources we need to build for success.  Think of all the products and services we are afforded to in our ministry to have spiritual and practical success, healthy emotions and body, and healthy relationships. We no longer have to devise our own methods; we have clear direction on how to build for healthy outcomes! – Robin Osborne
